Nokia XL dual-SIM Android smartphone has been listed at its online store for Rs.11,489. However, only the green colour variant is available right now.The device is currently in stock and will be delivered within five working days, the listing says.
Nokia XL was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in February along with Nokia X and Nokia X+.
The Nokia XL sports a 5-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels of resolution, and is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon processor that clocks at 1GHz. It comes equipped with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for Skype calls and selfies. Its 4GB onboard storage can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS. It runs Android, but the login and app data is said to be tied to Microsoft’s cloud services, and not Google as in any other Android phone. The phones run a version of Android Open Source Project, with access to sideloading of apps, third-party app stores and Nokia’s own store. You will find Microsoft essentials instead of Google services.
